Rankings continue to be a joke. I know MSU wins and they are in, but the committee seems to value losses more than wins. Two teams with one loss ranked ahead of at least three unbeatens.

Do you really think that beating Purdue by a field goal is more impressive than losing to Clemson; at Clemson, in the rain?

To those angry about the rankings, to quote Aaron Rodgers, RELAX! This is going to change so many times between now and when the playoff matchups are set. There will be at least one change after Saturday night. Far from over.

Believe Notre Dame has two last minute wins under their belt. It's just sad that the pedigree of s school is more important than winning games.

I actually disagree. Since good losses are weighed higher than simply winning. LSU loses this week and it's okay because the SEC loses don't really mean anything according to the chairman. Therefore LSU and Alabama probably switch places. Alabama loses and they might drop a spot or two, but since it's another good loss it won't really penalize them.

Yes I believe winning is more impressive than losing. And let's not pretend that Notre Dame has beaten some awesome teams either.

Two more Georgia players arrested. Life lessons from Mark Richt. He's irreplaceable. Who could we possibly hire in place of him? Amirite?

Not that I really care, but UF deserves to be in the Top 4 more than Bama does...

Perhaps. The system is worse than it was before in my opinion. At least the computers didn't use prestige of a program or anything like that. The obvious favorites from the committee is so clear.

That win is really gonna hurt Baylor. I would expect an undefeated team to fall outside the top 10 at least.

Beating Wisconsin and A&M is better than beating Missouria and Kentucky

Not that I care but UF also trounced Ole Miss who beat Bama @ Bama. If they are going on what each team has done through the first 8 weeks, then UF should be over Bama.

With that being said, I do not think UF is as good as their record indicates. Should have definetly lost to both UK and Tenn. And they played UGA without Chubb (but they probably still beat UGA anyways). So they've had a good amount of luck. They'll get beat by FSU most likely and then lose again to LSU/Bama in the SEC championship.

Winning means very little though. Losing is what matters to the playoff committee members. Losing against a perceived good team is better than actually winning.

You can't put a team above another (Florida over Alabama) just because of the Ole Miss factor. That only goes so far. Florida damn near lost to Vanderbilt today. They really aren't that good.

I am kidding. The committee is a joke though. Meanwhile TCU is playing themselves into the playoff with a loss today. That's how it works, right?

Not sure what to make of the TCU-Okie State game. I think it speaks more toward how good Oklahoma State is versus TCU being vastly overrated. I do think they were placed about where they should have been, but weren't an elite team.
