The problem with Cave or the other Rule V guys is that you HAVE to keep them on the 25-Man Roster or offer them back. The Braves can tuck Perez away back in Gwinnett if/when Smith gets his chance.

I was kinda hoping it was Victoria. She'd be great as the other bookend with Kate Upton. I criticize the Braves' FO and will no doubt continue to do so, but they definitely made the right decision and kept the right Upton from that magazine cover.

I wasn't advocating him over Johnson. Brignac is on a minor league deal and I think there will be a lot of moves at the end of spring training. I'm all for signing Kelly Johnson.
