I almost see Inciarte as a free 5 year insurance policy for the chance that Swansby doesn't work out. Here's a kid that has shown at the major league level that he's going to give you 2-3 WAR defense at worst. So even if Swansby fails you've got 2-3 WAR to work with. Now with that in mind Swansby is a hell of a bet. Reasonable K-rate and strong walk rate. This kid's ceiling is hall of famer. His floor is Dustin Ackley.

And then we've got the pitcher who is essentialy Wisler 2.0.

I like this trade.
