The last Great American rock band returns......

Foo Fighters are still going strong.]

I'm glad Axl decided to bury the hatchet, but it's 20 years too late, he's shot, and as far as I know, still no Izzy and neither Sorum or Adler confirmed in.

The one cool thing is that at least Duff isn't doing this for the money, man holds/held stock in Amazon, Microsoft and Starbucks way back in 94.

Didn't realize the Chili Peppers went anywhere....

I love, love the Peppers but they more or less ended when John Frusciante left the group. He wrote all thier songs.

Check out his 'shadows collide with people' it sounds like a RHCP rock album. It's amazing.

John's a weird guy. This generations Brian Wilson. Both have lost thier mind yet both have perfected the catchy pop song

I'll agree with this, the last time Frusciante left, it was for the One Hot Minute album, which wasn't really terrible, but it wasn't close to on par with Blood Sugar Sex Magik or Californication. RHCP I think is kind of like Bon Jovi, they had a great sound, but it wasn't super diverse and grew old over time. Stadium Arcadium sounded like rehashed Californication and By the Way.

Diverse? Blood Sugar is probably the most diverse rock record to ever make it big. Funk songs next to metal songs next to acoustic songs next to rap songs.

But they're a one trick pony. It would be like Rage Against the Machine if they didn't have amazing lyrics or Tom Morrello's incredible guitar mind.
