2016 Presidential Primaries [ SUPER TUESDAY | 3-1-'16]

Wow.

You were so staunch Jeb a year ago on here. Can't believe you did a complete 180 like this.

Are you voting Trump? or Cruz. Although you do strike me as a Rubio guy.

Trump would easily be my top choice if he wasn't a rube at times. But my current order of electable candidates are:

Cruz
Rubio
Kasich
Christie
Trump
Jeb

Rand Paul was up there pretty high and I do like Fiorina but no shot to win. The rest can git.

With 20+% in the results are looking good for Kasich and Sanders. Sanders is winning by enough to claim the majority of delegates and Kasich is proving himself as the moderate republican choice.

Moderates have won the last 2 R primaries and if Hillary is the dem nomination she isn't even remotely as strong of a candidate as Obama. Only thing that would hurt Kasich is Cruz/Trump running 3rd party.

Cruz seems to have a great political instinct and it looks like he is more modern in regards to what it takes to win. He's like Obama in that regard. Certainly not the great communicator Obama is, but he's got Obama's instincts when it comes to understanding how to win. I just think he would be really good at getting republicans to vote. He knows what strings to pull. And I love that he's a constitutionalist. I welcome liberalism, but I think once every decade or so it needs to take a step back. You don't want socialism at the federal level.

The story won't be about Kasich unless Jeb finished 5th. FNC will push Jeb if he finishes third or above Rubio.

NBC News confirms Kasich is the #2 tonight behind Trump.

Cruz and Jeb locked at 12% each. Would be big if Cruz got 3rd.

Christie yes but probably not Bush. Dubya is still very popular in the South and he's going to be campaigning for Jeb a lot for Super Tuesday.

Jeb faces 2 big issues. His potential southern hubs in FLorida and Texas have Rubio and Cruz as representatives as well. Nothing is locked in for Jeb.

Sanders 1st Jewish American to win a Presidential contest.
Trump 1st to win a Presidential contest after calling an opponent a pussy

Quite a night

Still way early, but I think it is now the Donald's race to lose. The establishment will have to settle on a guy on Super Tuesday or the dominoes may fall. The vote-split tonight is pretty much tailor-made for Trump. Kasich put all his eggs in the New Hampshire basket and it paid off, but I don't think he'll have legs in the South. It looks like Rubio should have taken a page from Trump's playbook and skipped a debate. When does Christie's obit get written?
