2016 Presidential Primaries [ SUPER TUESDAY | 3-1-'16]

Don't need to watch anymore debates or townhalls. I think I know where Hillary and Bernie stand by now. Instead I'm watching Frontline on PBS. Great doc on heroine epidemic.

hbo put out a great documentary on Heroin called Cape Cod or something like that. Worth checking out. It's more raw and real than this Frontline show. Heroin is a nasty drug

I could imagine that has to do with PBS being on network tv and HBO being able to show more stuff being on a pay channel.

No surprise on tonight. The real battle here is between Cruz and Rubio for second. If they want to really stop Trump, they better start consolidating and/or cutting some deals quickly. Because if Trump dominates Super Tuesday, I can't see anyone catching him or stopping the momentum. The more he wins, the more willing people are to vote for him. Even if they do thwart him, I think he's got the support to run a third party campaign if he so chooses.

So it's beginning to look like Hillary v. Trump. Needless to say, I have very little confidence in this country anymore.

What a time to be alive if you follow politics.

Cruz is going to regret the dirty tactic he pulled on Carson in Iowa.

I don't know where Carson is getting his money to stay in the race, but it's likely Trump worked with Carson to stay in to shave off votes from Cruz just enough for Cruz to fight Rubio which is a fight he's not winning. I wonder if Trump has a handshake deal with Carson to stay in until after Super Tuesday where it's looking like Trump just might have a clean sweep.

Rubio has stayed away from attacking Trump, and if he gets 2nd again tonight it's only a matter of time until Rubio has no choice but to attack Trump and get ready to have the wrath unleashed on him.

Cruz has managed to pull a dirty trick on just about everyone. I see where he threw his communications director under the bus for the fake video of Rubio saying there were no answers in the Bible. The guy is pure filth.

Curious. Does anyone else think Trump ran for president as a lark? He had no intention of really wanting to be the president but his big Ego got the best of him?

I always thought Trump was either:

-A plant by the GOP to make the other candidates like Cruz and Rubio look moderate.
-A plant by the Dems to make all the other candidates try and look just as nuts as Trump which would hurt them in the General for sure.

But as you said, I think his ego got bigger and he just started saying anything non-politically correct as possible to get people riled up.

I know pretty much everyone here sans Weso didn't like Cruz, but I'm kind of relieved that people in the general public who thought Cruz was a saint finally realized he was a snake.

It's still alarming to me that evangelicals actually have flocked more to Trump than Cruz, but nothing has satisfied me more than seeing Cruz's Snake Oil Salesman Reputation finally being unveiled.
