2016 Presidential Primaries [ SUPER TUESDAY | 3-1-'16]

Haven't checked lately, but at one point not long ago, Hillary's unfavorable rating was greater than 50 percent. Have there ever been two such widely disliked people running for president against each other in modern times?

Cruz is easily winning tonight's debate. It's not even a contest. Rubio is doing well, but it's pretty obvious that he's just out there to hold onto his senate seat.

Cruz had a great night tonight, but I'm not sure how impactful it will be.

Rubio had a great night tonight as well, but it's too little too late. I think his play was to be viable in Florida in the senate and maybe beyond and I think he did that.

Kasich did the third best, but meh.

Trump did the worst, but had at least one positive. He was disciplined, which is something I haven't seen from him.

We'll see how it plays out.

Rubio and Cruz decided to end with a little dignity… or the opposite of that — a job in the Trump administration.

So you mock them when their unprofessional and then you mock when they are.

Tough to win with you

They have no choice but to fall in line behind Trump. The Repubs don't have the balls to challenge him with a brokered convention.

I think it could be a "let the chips fall where they may" strategy by everyone. Given Sanders' stunning upset in Michigan, there are a lot of questions about the reliability of the polls this go round. Those who have been attacking Trump may have finally figured out that didn't work in the debate venue plus there is now a national well-funded anti-Trump movement that is doing push polling in primary states so the guys on the stage no longer have to do any more heavy lifting in that department.

Curious to see how it turns out. I get these mass e-mails every day from one side or the other and I got one from the Kasich folks the other day saying they were ahead in Ohio and HE NEEDS MONEY NOW! In fairness, I get a computer-generated e-mail from Nancy Pelosi every couple of hours about some impending doom and the DCCC NEEDS MONEY NOW! I would un-subscribe, but it's fun to actually see this stuff.

We're now arguing WHICH Trump Goon? RT @davidfolkenflik Breitbart argues WaPo's @bterris misidentified who … http://tl.gd/nm27ed

....

That was my first thought after reading the article

This shouldn't come as a surprise, but Fields lied about who grabbed her http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/03/11/trump-presser-ben-terris-misidentified/

As Donald Trump faces a growing backlash from conservative media over his recent attacks on a Fox News host, one prominent right-wing outlet remains firmly in his corner: Breitbart News, which has set itself apart by plastering its homepage with fawning headlines about the candidate, and all-caps assaults on his critics.

if they don't go that route

they should go back Gary Johnson and get back to the actual foundation of the republican party instead of the bed they have created

Breitbart Spokesman Resigns Over Trump Aide Assault: 'This **** Just Sucks'
"It's incredibly dangerous. His rhetoric is unmistakable and it is calculated and it is intentional,"

Kurt Bardella, who quit as Breitbart's spokesman on Friday over the site's handling of the Michelle Fields assault, says he could no longer go on. "It became untenable for me personally to continue in this situation. If you can't give 100 percent you can't represent your client," Bardella, who also represents country music bands in Nashville, told HuffPost.

"This **** just sucks."

For Bardella, the violence is getting out of hand, and needs to be called out. "There is this escalating pattern of behavior that's only happening at Donald Trump events. It's incredibly dangerous. His rhetoric is unmistakable and it is calculated and it is intentional," he said. Buzzfeed News first reported Bardella's resignation.

Asked why Breitbart seems to be siding with the Trump campaign over its own reporter, Bardella said he wasn't sure. "I think there certainly appears to be conflicting agendas at play here. Your guess is as good as mine," he said.

He also added that Corey Lewandowski had not, as had been previously reported, admitted to the assault. In a text message exchange with Breitbart's Matt Boyle, Bardella said, Lewandowski only said he didn't know Fields was a Breitbart reporter and would look into the situation.

Fields has filed a criminal complaint against Lewandowski. Video has subsequently emerged showing that Lewandowski, despite Breitbart's own protestations to the contrary, did indeed reach out toward Fields and appears to grab her, as even Breitbart is now acknowledging.
