Freddie's Wrist

Welp. I'm afraid every one of those contract extensions has officially gone belly up. Who'd a thunk it just two years later?

Hopefully they will be smart enough to wrap it up for the season. Get the surgery and start rehabbing. We are not going to be competitive this year anyway.

On a side note, they could let Freiman play first base and see if anyone notices

If this starts lingering a month or 2 into the year he 100% has to get surgery right away. Get it done in a wasted year and be fully ready to go at the start of 2017

His wrist injury has been lingering since June '15, almost 9 months now. There's reason to believe it's not getting better without surgery. But is there reason to believe it would get better with surgery? Maybe that's the holdup.

no worries, we only owe him like 120 million dollars more

and we shouldn't have traded him cause "we need our offense to somewhat look like a major league offense"

I think we all know how this is going to go. He will be on the DL by June and they will wait 2 months to see if it gets better with rest and rehab. Then in August he will have the surgery and miss all of 2017.
