AA will be Newcomb/Sims/Ellis/Bird/Janas with Thurman and Barker also available to start

My guess is that Folty, Blair and Newcomb will eventually emerge as mainstays of the major league staff. Some of the others will end up being fringe starters/relievers.

I think Gant/Sims/Jenkins all have upside that would bring them up above fringe..The rest I have my doubts.

I like Gant and Sims too. Realistically though there is still a fair amount of attrition even for pitchers already at the AA and AAA level.

If we get three average to above average major league starters from the group and a couple solid relievers that would be a good yield.

of those guys.. Newcomb and Folty have the highest ceilings easily.. but are the biggest risk.. Gant and Blair I think have the highest floor..
