Embarrassing effort by the USA over the past few days. Quite a sad state of affairs.

I assume you mean the reverse. WHere senior tanked friday and u-23 tanked today. Honestly, The Guatemala loss is no worse than the Jamaica loss 4 years ago. Win out and all will be right.

Losing to Guatemala should never have happened in the first place. Nor should requiring a victory over Colombia. Missing the Olympics two times in a row is pretty bad.

As was pointed out, a similar thing happened in Jamaica 4 years ago. It's not ideal, but CONCACAF is improving so getting through qualification will get harder every time. No longer is it just USA and Mexico.

Leicester win and Tottenham draw has them 7 points up with 6 to play.

Remaining schedule is

@Sunderland
West Ham
Swans
@Man U
Everton
@ Chelsea

Sunderland is a pushover, should be a win.

Swansea is a lower quarter table team, should be an easy win

The other 4 are tough,Man U is a good team who plays some bad games and it's never easy winning in Old Trafford. West Ham is fighting for Europe, they may just get there. Everton and Chelsea are mid table teams who should be tough.

Tottenham's remaining games

Man U
@Stoke
West Brom
@Chelsea
Southampton
@Newcastle

Newcastle is a pushover, btu West Brom, Man U and Southampton will be tough home games but all winnable, @Chelsea and Stoke could be quite tough.

Arsenal is 4 points behind Tottenham but with a game in hand so I'll discuss.

@Westham
Crystal Palace
West Brom
@Sunderland
Norwich
@Man City
Villa

4 of those games are gimmes against relegation level opponents. 1 is questionable with West Brom and at Man City and West Ham will be very hard.

So I guess Arsenal doesn't want to win the league. Letting Andy Carroll bitch slap them like Liverpool is about to play 40 mil for him.

Arsenal are now 10 points back with 6 games to go, and 3 points back from Tottenham as well. Odds of Leicester not getting 9 points from their last 6 games are slim, they should have 6 points with Sunderland and Swansea. ANd should be able to beat West Ham or Everton to secure the 9 points they need. Tottenham has Leicester in a bit more of a vice as they're "only" 7 points back, meaning Leicester needs 12 points to lock up so Spurs could win out and probably get the league. Or at least be right in the mix.

Leicester wins again. only need 9 points more than TOttenham or 6 more than Arsenal to win, 4 over City. 3 over United. They're getting close.

LOL ManU. Nice effort today.

For the first quarter hour or so Man U looked the better squad, and they looked even up until the wheels came off. Then the wheels came off.

Leicester have UCL locked up. LVG is only a loss or 2 more away from not making UCL and hes at risk of dropping out of Europe all together as Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton are all close enough to them.

So Deandre Yedlin is starting for Sunderland which is great. Hopefully Tottenham lets him go again. Can't see him playing over Walker right now.

Lol Arsenal. Now in 4th officially after drawing to Crystal Palace, AT HOME. ONly 4 points ahead of Man U now at risk of dropping out of UCL.

Nothing better than watching Spurs nowadays. Just beautiful. No clint dempseys on the team, lol

While it's extremely early in the season, MLS has a bit of shakeup in it's early season standings,

SUpporters Shield winning NYRB have the lowest point total in MLS. Out west the Sounders, Timbers, and Whitecaps who all made the playoffs (with the Timbers winning it all) are currently on the outside looking in. FC Dallas keeps rolling. Rapids and Union were bottom dwellers last year and now they're contending for the top spot in their conferences.

5 Points is now the magic number for Leicester, but they don't have an easy finish going to old Trafford and hosting Everton, They face 2 coaches attempting to hang onto their jobs. Then finishing at Stamford Bridge, would Chelsea want Leicester to celebrate winning the league on the field? Nothing will be a given, Tottenham has West Brom, and Southampton at home and go to Stamford Bridge and St. James's Park. None are easy games, but if their form holds I don't see them dropping points. They have a 50/50 shot IMO of winning the league.

Well nevermind, Tottenham drew at home so the magic number is now 3. So they've almost choked their chance. And Alli is likely to be banned retroactively for punching a player.

Tottenham draws with Chelsea so Leicester have done the impossible. What is maybe the most unlikely sports victory in my lifetime.

Spurs loss to southampton and Arsenal drawing with city makes all spots 2-4 up for grabs.

arsenal get 2 with a win and spurs loss

city get 3 with a win and arsenal loss.

Winning out gets united into ucl at 4 and an arsenal loss gets them 3.

Sets up a fun last weekend if Man U win tuesday

With 1 point clear and a game in hand Sunderland is in the driver seat to,stay up. Of they beat everton they are safw
