I think at this point Gwinnett could beat Atlanta

If our hitters could face gant, Grilli, Jim Johnson, and EoF, we might look better offensively

Gant might be pretty good at Gwinnett

Gant will be a good one but we did rush him to Majors too fast IMO. However, I am happy for him to make it so fast. But he only had a short time in AA last year, not even a full season. He should be in AA or AAA right now.

I will say, I like watching Flowers behind the plate. Very demonstrative when it comes to showing the pitcher where he wants the ball. Not world-class by any means when it comes to blocking pitches, but shows more effort than AJP.

I will say, I like watching Flowers behind the plate. Very demonstrative when it comes to showing the pitcher where he wants the ball. Not world-class by any means when it comes to blocking pitches, but shows more effort than AJP.

Overall, Flowers is night and day better defensively than AJP and he also had some good AB's his first game too IMO.

EoF with 2 losses... To be fair to the bullpen though, AJ single-handily snatched 2 wins away or probable wins

Inciarte was hurting before the game with his hamstring but tried to play through it according to Fredi's press conference. They seem to think he is just going to miss a few games.

EOF wasn't even charged a run in that first loss either, Beckham's error led to it mostly. But yea AJ pretty much single-handedly beat Braves first two.

Facing good teams out of the gate makes it real. Individual performances and farm development are the focus I suppose.
