Brief Announcement

Thanks to those who have given me some positive reinforcement on the 10 darkest days. I wonder how many of these folks will have a problem, or at least a disagreement, with. A couple I'm sure are all but forgotten -- hence the reason for this series!

The plan originally was to do two of these a month; that will be the average with an another coming around the all-star break.

See below for the announcement about the schedule.

Due to lack of interest and/or enthusiasm from just about everyone, we won't be doing a series on the Braves' darkest days. Maybe around May 1st we'll just turn it into a list. Obviously, serious research and history has no place on this board.

Yeah, I'm pouting. A little.

I was looking forward to it.

Thanks. Yours were the first feedback I received.

I thought the opinion that Aaron was keeping Torre and Carty out of the Braves Hall of Fame might generate a little more buzz. I'll add this tidbit: I am no fan of Aaron the executive. As far as I'm concerned, he has been an albatross around the neck of the Braves team officials for two decades. How many important announcements has he ever been a part of? Just sayin'.

We'll plug away, since we've written four so far. Next one IS NOW POSTED, accidentally!

The next will be in about 10 days, per The Don's thought that we should stretch it through the season.

I enjoyed it as well. I've been mostly checking in on mobile for the last few days, which means no thanks and fewer/shorter posts. I look forward to seeing the next ones.

One thing to keep in mind, is some of us can really only understand on a historical level. I've been a braves fan s long time , but this precedes my memories of the middle 80's.

Keep it coming though. I'd love to increase my pre84 Braves knowledge.

Dawg. You can just view full site on mobile instead of the mobile site.

Rico love and look forward to all and any Braves (baseball in general-Braves in particular) stories.

Loved last seasons review of the 1966 team. Used to have most of those baseball cards - my last season of collecting

Keep um coming - internet at it's best

Thank you for the support. But those "1966" baseball cards DO NOT EXIST. Those are virtual cards, created by a gifted young man who had amazing access to the Topps vault material. Most of the 1966 Braves cards were hatless head shots, if you recall.
