Having Jupiter as a roommate would make us considerably less alive.

If it was the same distance as the moon, then yes. If we were just a satellite orbiting Jupiter at a safe distance, maybe not.

Definitely interesting. They will be using telescopes like this one to get a 'better look' at this in the future.
