Facebook

I don't get it. Why would anyone want to take those discussions from the forum to facebook? It only takes away from the forum and not everyone has Facebook anyway.

The facebook is an options for us to continue discussion outside of the board. Not to take away from the board. We can discuss anything from something we see regarding the Braves that we can easily share in the group to posting pictures of us at a game....not everyone will join, but the option is there for the people who want to join

It is nice to get a notification when there is something new posted there. I still spend a lot more time here, but there have been some interesting things posted there as well.

I agree. And this is meant as no slight to bravesfan88 ... but the goal should be nurturing and growing discussion on these forums. Boards are a bit of a dying breed and anything that takes even a post or two away is a negative in my book. Just my two cents. Besides, Facebook is creepy AF.
 
I can understand the argument there, and it is in no way meant to take away posts. But it would be nice to have the option there, but maybe you can find more braves fans that stumble across it we can bring to the board

Apparently, all reactions are welcome. Not on FB myself, so nobody has to worry be concerned about me throwing cold water on those bitch sessions. When the Sporting News was in magazine form, they used to have a "Rant of the Week" section. Seriously, who gives a **** about some blowhard Red Sox fan and his long suffering?

Sorry, it doesn't make me any more sympathetic to fellow Braves fans acting like big babies.
