Around MLB 2016 style

Moosetacos done for the year. Looking like an uphill battle for the Royals to defend their crown. Wonder if they'd be willing to take Nick the Stick off our hands.

LA calling up Urias, SF probably cruises to the division though, Cueto and Samardizja have been fantastic pickups.

Curious to see how he does. Ryu trying to come back. I will be very surprised if he is able to come back from Shoulder issues and be as effective as he was prior to injury.

I think the Giants are going to go out and get another starter and force the hand of the Dodger$..

I think Urias will do great out of the gate... I've watched him a bit in the minors... he's a rare talent... 3 plus pitches at 19. It's all about how he's gong to do as a 19 year old playing in front of millions of viewers/fans. If he keeps his cool, he has a chance to be dominant out of the gate. Other question mark at least for the rest of the year is that if he stays up, how many inning will they let him pitch?

Also Bradley Jr.'s streak ends at 29... incredible run. Since he was brought back up last year, he's been simply phenomenal... one of the best in baseball. I wish we had pounced on him when his value was low and we were rumored to be interested. He's special.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. Too bad they were smart enough not to sell low on him.

I think a hitting streak should have to reach at least 40 ****ing games before people are allowed to call it a pursuit of DiMaggio's record, for ****'s sake.

Rookie sensation Omar Letspla is starting his 6th game in a row since his call-up...in his pursuit of Cal Ripken's Iron Man record.

That's how stupid that **** sounds.

Curious to see how Cuthbert does. He was a guy I thought we should have taken a look at and perhaps targeted during the off-season.

Hey, I think Bradley is all well and good and kudos to him, but remember we are talking about the Red Sox when it comes to coverage and I think David Ortiz dropping an incredible fart in the locker room probably makes the team notes section and maybe has a link on the MLB site.

Very true.

Giants have a comfy lead and LA heads to SF next week i think where SF could have a big cushion and not need another starter.

Regarding Ryu, probably wont be 100 percent til next year.

Urias is on an innings limit, he seems like he's the real deal, him and Kershaw could be a nasty duo going forward, anyone with Kershaw is really.

I tend to think this season is a little bit smoke and mirrors buttressed by a .390 BABIP that he simply won't be able to maintain long term. If he settles into a normal .330 or so, all of a sudden his batting line would look more like .270/.340/.440 which is still good for a CF'er but hardly the monster numbers he's put up so far

If Jackie Bradley was with the Braves, ESPN wouldn't even know who he was.
