Wiegel is up there with Newcomb as the best pitching prospect in the system. Great game for him.

He's up there. Him and Newcomb are the best in full season ball. He touches upper 90s. Control has really improved.

I'm not saying he won't be good or he's not a good prospect or I'm not excited to see what he can do... but he's nowhere NEAR the top pitching prospect in the system. He's a 21 year old in A ball... he should be dominating.

Yes he's been pitching fantastic here lately....but "best pitching prospect in the system"???????

Which pitchers in full season ball are better? The only one you can really argue is Soroka.

Some will say Sims, but I see a reliever. He's got to climb further up the ladder, but I would bet on him succeeding at the ML level over a lot of our other guys based on his stuff.

Whalen... at a higher level

Another hit for Governor Mooneybeam in Danville.
