Most interesting part of the day will be whether we trade our bonus slots. Last year we made 3 trades to acquire bonus slots on 7/2: Cody Martin to A's, Garret Fulenchek to Rays, Caleb Dirks and Jordan Paroubeck to Dodgers. So any trade we make today is going to have a very negligible return, but still . . . trades are fun.

International bonus slots are tradable. Teams can acquire slots up to 50% of their pool. So, the Braves first slot is untradable (value too high to be acquired), but the other 3 can be traded. The logic is that the Braves will blow past their pool, so these slots are more valuable to other teams trying to stay within their pool than to the Braves. The only benefit of these slots to the Braves is that they would slightly reduce the overage penalty / tax they'll pay for blowing past their pool limit.
