7/2 GDTVBraves vs heat, fish: Lucas Harrell Era begins

FYI guys: Out Top 30 prospects list is now updated and open (again) for comments, even though no one in baseball considers our list as meaningful. Fun to do, though.

He's done this before... Last year to start the season. Perhaps jace's demise last year was injury-related

Yea, plus perhaps it was that and a combination of ups and downs players often have when new to the Majors. Prado had the same issue and look at him now. Jace was very good in the minors so maybe he will become the same player or close in the Majors too. If so he could be a solid starter for us at second or playing all over in a role like Prado and Infante use to have.

Dario Alvarez has been great with us and stupid of the Mets to let him go. Glad we finally made use of having first shot at waiver wire to grab him. He could help us for years to come. He and Cervenka are two solid lefties.

What a comeback in the 9th by Dario, lefty killer CJ starts it with his usual hit vs a lefty, another righty follows with a chopper up the middle, HBP loads 'em up. Then pop out to shallow RF, strikes out Stanton and Suzuki to end it.

Congrats to Lucas on a successful return to MLB. He showed why I liked him with Houston years back today. Maybe he can get back to that and be a decent MLB player again.

Also, Jace Peterson is really hot right now!

Lucas Harrell or Lucas McCain?

Just had a chance to watch the game. The home plate ump was just awful. The Adonis Garcia AB in the 4th inning was just embarrassing for the home plate ump. Don't think I've ever seen that in a game before.

We've done well with pitching reclamation projects this year: Cervenka, Alvarez, Jim Johnson, Norris, Chacin. And now Harrell. And I have some hopes for Wooten. Someone(s) in the front office deserves a pat on the back.

I agree with you aside from including Jim Johnson in that list. Jim Johnson has been better of late but he's worse than Ogando who we just released after running him into the ground (and likely why he went from good to stinky too).

I think we've done a super job on that score. Hard to argue otherwise. I hope we keep it up.
