VP choices don't tend to mean a whole lot. I think Pence firms up Trump with cultural conservatives who may need to be energized to turn out in big numbers. Trump is doing well with that segment of the voting population, but turnout will be key.

out of the four candidates being discussed I only see one that will nominate Justices to the Supreme Court that come anywhere close to my views.
Let alone nominate a VP that isn't against selling LGBT people pizza.

Say what you will about Trump or Clinton but they stood in the public arena and fought for votes.
End of the day, they had the most votes.

I think that was a huge reason Trump chose Pence. He has to do things to win over conservatives who are still skeptical of him (hand raised) and this was one way to trying to do that. Christie wasn't going to do that. Gingrich, as smart as he is, has more baggage than a sold out Delta flight. I thought Pence or Senator Sessions would be a good step in the right direction. I do also agree that VP selections don't mean a lot as well, but this selection will go over well with a lot of conservatives.
 
I see that Elizabeth Warren is targeting Airbnb... Heaven forbid a private company bringing innovation and affordable travel rentals to people.
