7/27 WEDNESDAY MINOR FINAL: Blair rights ship; Cumberland targeted?

not enough to balance that trade.. Actually less than Neck is owed if you do his buyout. I would say the Braves would have to take Soria and still kick in money to buy Dozier..

Neck of course is more valuable than Soria, so I don't think it would have to be a complete buyout.. Maybe 11 million total..

I'd still throw in a mid level prospect or two

Come to think of it, we should be trying to buy him no matter what... with Mouse Tacos there for the next few years.

Buy Dozier! The Royals have a couple bad contracts with Kennedy and Soria. Surely something can be worked out. Would be a better long term solution to 3B than a stop gap like Prado or Freese.

Checking to see how the GCL Braves are doing and who was pitching... then I saw this..

"Derian Cruz strikes out on an automatic strike. "

What the heck is that about?!?

Some pitchers not in the Braves organization are just that good. (Just kidding). I wonder as well. Perhaps it's one of those "speed up the game unless you are talking about the time reviews take" rules. Maybe he took too long to get back into the box after shaking his head at a marginal strike call for strike two.

I don't know why his name hasn't come up more... it seems he'd be the perfect fit, and I can't imagine the Royals would hang onto him with a death grip if a decent offer came by.
