I think the OF acquisitions are done for 2017. One of the 4 controllable OFers not named Kemp is almost certainly going to be traded.

If it's Markakis the return will be minimal. Due to his zero trade value, affordable contract, his ability to get on base, and his veteran leadership in the clubhouse, I am predicting Markakis stays.

If it's Inciarte or Mallex I would expect the return to fill a hole on next year's roster. Considering all the low and mid level FA options at 3B this offseason, I would bet one of those guys goes to a team needing a CFer in exchange for a C or SP.

I'd look to trade Nick in the offseason and bring Reddick in. He's one of the safer bets in FA and we'll have the cash.

I thought you were a metrics guy....they'll need some run prevention. The folks they are planning on trotting out to CF scares me. Plus Inciarte is coming around. Arbitrary endpoints.

Cespedes in LF and Bruce in RF are you bats. but you are going to need a legit CF to help those guys out.
