Well the due was August 7th, but all signs pointed to later on in the week. Wife called me yesterday around 930 and told me I had to get home. That call and the subsequent hospital visit were definitely not expected.

You'll get used to it. Every day is an adventure. The first couple of years are absolutely golden! Different challenges along the way, but if you work as a team with your wife, things can be worked through. There will be some days that you'll wonder what you got yourself into, but, believe me, those pass. My only advice is the old saw "Don't worry that your kids don't listen to you. Worry that they watch you."
