Another comp I've seen of Swanson is Brandon Crawford. If he's Crawford with a better bat then we have our guy. If he's only like Crawford we still come out way on top.

I'd take Crawford with a bit higher avg and OBP all day long. Thats an .800 Ops guy at SS with solid D and wheels.

Crawfords a 4-5 WAR guy as is. So yeah that would put Swanson in elite status. That would be his ceiling imo. A 120 WRC+ hitter with plus plus defense. And getting that would make this rebuild so much easier. Realistically though if we get an above average hitter (110 WRC+) with plus defense we should all be extremely happy there too.
