My cousin works for FEMA.
She makes $140K a year to knock on doors and hand out bottles of water.
Solid gig.
And did they even have pickles back then? Are we sure that George Washington could have opened a jar of pickles?

Wasn't crazy about pickled foods growing up but now they're a nice addition. They go great with spicy fries and beer. Even sauerkraut, kimchii, J pickled radishes. And my pickled peppers and jalapenos are popular around here.
Don't forget pickled pig's feet and snouts. To elaborate on Runnin's post: you know "pickles" are more than cucumbers, right? Like, kimchi, oshinko (daikon? umeboshi?!), sauerkraut, zanahorias, lahpet, corned beef, chutney, giardiniera? Like any edible olive?
Don't forget pickled pig's feet and snouts.
