Puig officially placed on waivers the other day. I wonder if the Braves put in a claim. Even with his issues, i don't think he will clear waivers

Why not? I'd definitely throw down a claim, either way. No point letting it get past you.

Not sure what we have that cleared waivers that would be worth Puig. Dodgers are not interested in prospects. only reason the Braves would claim him would be to block him from being traded until this off season.

I would trade Markickass for Puig straight up. But I doubt that happens. If I am reading his contract right, if he stinks, you could non-tender him after the 2018 season.
