9/10 SAT MINORS PLAYOFFS: SWEEP! 3-FOR-3!

Good business. Look at their locations. Not a turkey among them (not counting Carolina). Stadium are all first-rate as well.

Better control, fewer headaches, and they make money. That's a trifecta of reasons.

Makes sense to have it all under one roof. Might be something other teams go toward in the future.

Touki may be in the bullpen. He worked two innings in game one, striking out all six. Don't need a full rotation at this point.

Really interesting question about who has the "best system" IMO. Sure the other top-heavy systems have more Top 100 prospects, but does that really make them "better"? Who else has three teams (one at each level) still alive???

Not meant to be a smartass question at all - I have no clue. Is the "Dayton-way" of having winners at each level more important??? If it is, it's awfully tough to argue against the way Coppy & Company are going about things.

I don't think our strategy is to have winners at every level, that was just a byproduct of having such a ridiculously deep system.

As for the question, I wouldn't give up our farm system for anybody's right now. I know a couple others have more guys who are close to ready with really high ceilings, but I think our system overall has the most guys with very high ceilings...ours are just younger and further away. That's why we don't have as many top 100 guys right now, even though we probably will have at least 6.

One minor gripe about the playoffs thus far: there's no need to throw a pitcher (Clouse) out there 3 games in a row, especially when he already played a complete college season followed by his Pro debut.

Technically 3 in 4 days though, and he only faced 5 total batters.
