Sheesh. Foltynewicz did the same thing against the Twins a little over a month ago. Not all innings are equal and when you're staked to a big lead, the thing a pitcher has to do is have a shut-down inning right away to drive a nail in the coffin. He's a hard guy to figure out.

Muk might have some trade value this off-season. I'm ok with keeping all four of our outfielders for next season. But if we keep just three, I'd like to see an outfield with Mallex in left, Ender in center and Kemp in right.

I was thinking the same thing. He's clearly a support level player at this point in his career, but in the right situation, Markakis wouldn't be a terrible investment for someone. Reasonable contract and he looks to be stronger this season.

Kemp at 282/331/487 - 818 with the Braves now. Considering he played half the year in Petco and had a 684 OPS there he might have more in the tank than we think.

Also be noted the Braves have a team WRC+ of 105 in the 2nd half. The 5th best mark in baseball. And the 7th best WAR in the 2nd half for position players. They are playing really good baseball right now. The pitchers on the other hand...

The BB% improvement is the biggest deal to me. We know the power is there so that going back to pre Padre levels is very encouraging. Bodes well for next season.
