Snit announces that Braves will go with Teheran, Folty, Collmenter, Wisler, somebody, Teheran in final six games.
Phillies figure to go with Eickhoff, Morgan, Hellickson.

The Marlins play the Mets tonight. They probably won't make it up unless it's completely necessary.

Ah ok, I thought the Marlins were off also. I am not sure why they wouldn't make it up...it could literally cost the Braves 3-5 draft positions.

MLB would not make it up for that reason. Playoff connotations only and the Marlins can't get there.

Under the circumstances, I doubt it. Maybe a few dick fans. But an organization won't complain about this game being cancelled over draft position.

I'd be surprised if they didn't complain, especially seeing that the game wasn't cancelled due to "an act of God."

Has it hit everyone yet that this truly the final week of Turner Field?

I've read a few "what could have been" articles about the Ted the last few days.

Turner Field was built like the very best version of a ball park that would have been built in the 70's or 80's. Really big, but with very little personality - aside from that name. I'm going to miss the name "Turner". It's the type of name that if the Braves played in the same stadium for a century, the name would still have meant something no different from "Wrigley" or "Fenway".

Good start to the game for the tanking crowd.

Very fitting for Howard to hit a grand slam here in one of his last games at the Ted.
