GDT 9/30 Wake Me When September Ends

Has Swanson lost his rookie-eligibility for next season yet?

He has 123 ABs. The walked tonight helped. He can only get 7 more ABs the next two games.

Maybe he should rest those nuts some more—it's going to be a long winter, after all, and he wouldn't want to exhaust them.

He's helped the offense take it to the next level. 872 OPS with the Braves so far. Assuming the baseball juicing conspiracy is correct and they keep them next year he could push for 40 homers.

His walk rate went up as well. Interesting. If he comes in shape, he can put up some really good numbers we have not seen since Andruw/Sheffield/Javy from the right side of the plate.

He can push .900 if he walks more as well.

I would agree with that. I can definitely see the best right handed season for a Brave since those days. I was looking at the individual seasons for the Braves since 1995. And a couple of things stuck out. 1) that 2003 team was stacked offensively. 2) Chipper owns 9 of the top 14 seasons in OPS including the top 4.
