To be fair it took the craziest pilot in the galaxy to even be able to get to the surface of the planet. Otherwise it was well fortified. That being said these movies are supposed to be fun and for most fans not require a lot of thinking. They are the original summer blockbuster.

Han SOlo had to land on the planet from lightspeed, which is not a simple task at all. Then it took a small group sneaking around during a big battle to go in and destroy the oscillator wall from the inside. I don't know what more you'd want from them

Expanding on the most deadly weapon in the galaxy is a bad idea?
Personally I want something more like the Malevolence in the Clone Wars. Star Destroyer sized but with the ability to take on a small fleet. Making it harder to detect and more dangerous.

One thing I love about Disney taking over Star Wars was necessary retconning, The biggest one is retconning out Clones as stormtroopers. So many inconsistencies such as size discrepancies that were created by making them clones.

Has an interesting potential. Execution is what's important because everyone knows how the film (or at least the story) ends.

So I'm convinced that Qui-Gon might be Top 5 if not Top 3 Jedi Master of All-Time.

I take it you got tickets? I went with the IMAX 3D tickets for TFA, not sure I'll go $18 for rouge one tickets.
Didn't buy any but my town is full of people who never do so I'm always likely to get one.

1. Probably not. I mean you have to assume Yoda and Luke are top 2 in some order. Then you're battlign with the likes of Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Obi Wan Kenobi, Shaak Ti, Quinlan Vos, and Kit Fisto. And that's just going with Canon and people we know from films and TV. FOr me my top 5 in the films/TV go. 1. Yoda 2. Luke 3. Obi Wan 4. Mace Windu 5. Qui Gon
Though Quinlan Vos is really badass.
2. Big time nope. Obi Wan was a great Jedi and dualist. But if Yoda couldn't beat Sidious, then Obi Wan couldn't. Still really disappointed that Yoda and Palpatine had a lightsaber battle. Wish instead they got into an epic force battle with new force abilities we've never seen. Oh well.
