I don't see it anywhere this morning so it looks like it was BS. FWIW, when I saw it I wasn't able to confirm it anywhere else and wondered about it. The article only said that unnamed sources in the Trump camp said that Giuliani had the job but had to wait while Trump went through 'some motions'. I'll try and find it again.

I don't think that's exactly right. Pence had offered the tax cut before and Carrier rejected it. According to the WSJ, Carrier's parent company, a huge government defense player, was pretty much told to make this deal happen or maybe things wouldn't be so great in the future for them. This is actually worse then what you stated.

Will taxpayers end up paying for security at Trump's international hotels? Probably not, since he doesn't really own most of them or have his own money in them. But it seems there is a good chance they could be attacked because of things Trump may do or say. I wonder if their insurance premiums are going up.

Good point weso1. I was unaware that Pence had previously offered the tax cut. I just hope the price of a Whopper doesn't get to high so that Trump feels he has to haul in the Burger King brass and threaten to forbid government employees from eating there unless they cut the price.
 
Did Trump team orchestrate the Taiwan call behind the WH's back? He may get impeached before he even takes the oath.

Trump believes he can do anything and get away with it, but the crimes and misdemeanors will add up quickly. This Congress may already be planning to oust Trump and give the office to Pence. He's looking pretty savvy right now.

First you bought into the story pushed by a guy who 'worked' for Jerry Springer that claimed Trump raped a minor, then you were duped by the 'Make American White Again' photoshop, and now you're out again with this blatant mischaracterization.

How about something not pulled from an e-mail chain message?

In terms of the exact parameters of the deal it's certainly wanting ... but if you choose to treat it as a narrative about the government being willing to work with companies compelled to sending jobs abroad it's consistent with Trump's line about America being open for business again.

Exactly. Prior to this type of move the alternative was just allowing the company to send all their jobs to another country. At least some of the revenue / tax dollars / wages are staying within the borders. Globalism has destroyed the middle class in this country.
