Pentecost has been DHing thus far. If he can catch again, he'd be someone who would elicit a lot of interest.

Think they have been taking a cautious approach. Probably a gamble but he hits well enough he might could go to 1B if he can't catch in the long run.
 
I still am holding out hope for Sisco. The Orioles have a window to compete, and there are ways we match up for a trade. They need OF help and an eventual replacement for Adam Jones which is why they asked for Mallex in return for Brach.
They also have a Comp pick in Round B I'm sure we're eyeing.
 
At this stage, the Braves are still waiting for someone to offer them the world. It only takes one or two for these deals to pop up, and now that sanity has allegedly reuturned to Arizona, they await the next panic-stricken team to come forward. Thinking Seattle and Colorado are showing itchy trigger fingers so far.

They aren't dealing him. He's ready now and catching sucks in MLB. He'll be above avg from the jump and cheap.

It would take a stupid haul.
 
There was another Ask Coppy. As usual there are a lot of company lines, but these stood out to me

Depends on so many things, but safe to say we value quality over quantity -- meaning less players w/ higher upsides, so in that regard, yes.,

No. Of the 14 teams only 5-6 realistically would even consider trading them -- but yes I have contacted those teams. I love the draft.,

Good call, Ty. Touki has as much upside as any pitcher in our system & could be 1-2 type. One internal comp on him is actually Archer.,
