No really. Amidst all the bitching about Trump and Clinton, this is actually good non-partisan news. Thank you POTUS and Congress!

"The passage of the Frank R. Wolf International Religious Freedom Act shows a strong coalition working together for the cause of international religious freedom. The bipartisan nature of this passage shows us that religious freedom does not have to be a partisan issue but is rooted in our deepest commitments as Americans, and I hope that persecuted religious minorities around the globe will see that they have not been forgotten. While the passage of this act by no means solves the religious freedom crisis around the world, it is a step in the right direction."

Hey Beds, I didn't want to put this over there on the other with the other political stuff, but I know it doesn't really go here either. Anyway, what's the deal with your governor's race? I know what I"ve read, but I also know there's usually more to these stories that what we see in the average article or news story.

McCrory pissed off a section of the state that's traditionally hardcore in the R camp - the northern burbs of Charlotte. The I-77 toll lane expansion is hated in that neck of the woods. That coupled with the Dems owning the cities and the whole bathroom fiasco and he got tossed. Neither candidate (as seems most races for me this day) thrilled me.
