GDT 8/28/13: Indians (Masterson) @ Braves (Maholm) 7:10 PM

BJ has been the biggest failure in history of FA signings. This has got to be one of the worst seasons ever by an everyday player.
 
I've been a huge FW guy but I'm seriously starting to change my tune with his FA signings. I've always backed Frank but this BJ signing is already looking twice as bad as the Lowe signing. At least Uggla does hit his homers and gets on base at a good rate.

History? Hardly. Vaughn comes to mind. Hampton. Bonilla. The list goes on and on. BJ has several seasons to make it to the top of the list--or to bounce back and get off it altogether.

yet every time a lineup is announced without BJ in the lineup someone is on here bitching, "BJ has to get his AB's". Why? he's terrible and is not getting better.

I guess they just feel sorry for the other team? Agreed. He's a lost cause for this year. He needs a false injury. Clear your head and try again next year.
 
Its just a lost year. It is what it is. But for people to think that BJ is just going to go away you are in for a rude awakening. He will be the starting CF out of ST next year.

And still serving as an automatic out unless he commits to making some significant adjustments.
