Braves acquire Micah Johnson

I like Johnson as somewhat of a bounce-back candidate. Didn't realize he had been DFA'd. Coming off a bad year, but at the time he was traded to LAD in the Peraza deal, many (most?) felt he was a better prospect than Peraza.

I approve of this. Johnson just turned 26 so he's still on the upside of his career. With his speed if he can transition the contact ability he's shown at times in the minors to the majors, he might be a useful piece. A no risk move with a bit of upside.

Could be a good super sub at the least, potential to realize his abilities and be more. Price will set how good this was, but shouldn't hurt.

A great pickup. He's just a year from being a top prospect. Good gamble.

A top prospect? I don't see a single reference to him being a Top 100 guy on his MiLB player page:

Sometimes I wonder where you come up with the "info" you post. You just make it up most of the time?

Now it's time for you to call me a jerk for posting facts that counter your incorrect statements. Please be ready to change your signature.

I think the jerk portion, comes with all the narrative you provide with your "facts"

As an avid prospect follower, I can say for sure Micah Johnson was considered a quality prospect not that long ago.

There you go... there's a perfect example of you starting crap for absolutely no reason. When did I ever say anything personal to you or even talk to you in this thread? Did I say a MLB top prospect? He was as high as the #4 prospect in the White Sox farm, thus being a WS top prospect. Thanks for just proving further to everyone what we already knew about you (even though you claimed poor wittle Enscheff is the one bullied on here).

My lord you live in a land of delusion. Were you nominated to the Trump cabinet?

2014 #4 in White Sox's org
2015 #8 in Dodgers org.

I would say that not too long ago, he was a top prospect. He was a big piece in the Peraza trade.

I suppose we define "top prospect" differently. You must consider Brandon Marsh, currently the #4 prospect in the Angels system, a "top prospect"? Same with Derek Hill, the #4 guy for the Tigers?

Derp along guys, derp along all day long!

You're unhinged. Go back to your desk with your Mountain Dew and Donuts in your moms basement where you make believe you're a brilliant coder. Turbo Pascal is a great programming language.

If we picked up Marsh or Hill for cash, I'd be jumping for joy. Marsh is a big name overslot signing from June's draft and Hill was a first rounder a few years ago with a 60-70 grade on his defense. Hill isn't hitting now, but I'd be happy to add him at the price we paid for Johnson.

I mean straight from MLB Trade Rumors: "He has been on the prospect radar for some time though he hasn’t performed well in limited major league action."

Grabbing Micah is perfectly fine. I'm just poking fun at folks that want to start hyping him and calling him a "former top prospect". As usual, the targets of my prodding started taking it personally and began to cry.

It's going to be OK guys. You will survive someone giving you **** on the internet, I promise. Nobody will take your participation trophies away or anything.
