The Trump Presidency

Poor woman. She looks like she's in hell and terrified of this man. This gif is actually in reverse.

Trump budget pick Mick Mulvaney, facing Senate hearing today: “Do we really need government-funded research at all”

I don't need government funded research about the reporduction habits of crawfish.

Of course you do.
Read up on the hows and whys of research involving crawfish reproduction - my guess is it is genetic research and the use of crawfish has to do with lifespan or gestation period. Or some combination of big words

Or it could be ecological or simply evolution .

Are you and Sturg and the rest really anti science and against tax dollars going into scientific research ?
All for a tax break ?

Shoot tell Sturg there is "mathamatics concepts" involved

"so old Trumpy shut down research today and my buddies staff (he is a Doctor of Organic Chemistry) at the USDA is no longer able to publish their research online.

and the administration just forced a media blackout at the EPA while they dismantle a bunch of regulations"

love reading stuff like this from people i know

Today, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is higher than at any time in the last 650,000 years.

In the 2008 election Sarah Palin made a point of mocking fruit fly research

Here is a short over view of what she was terribly off base on

.............................................

My guess is should Cajun google crawfish research he'd see ...

Has the NIH proven themselves to be more innovate and effective as Gilead? Or Abvie? Or Phizer? Or Celgene?

Just curious if we should have smart organizations doing this stuff - with the purpose of making money as the end goal.

The average peer reviewed article is read seven times.

Seven, including peer review.

I believe government should have some sort of role with funding research, but only a fool would argue that the current structure is perfect.

Not a fool. A leftist that thinks the government is the solution to all.
