I actually agree with Cajun on this one. If Trump's removal from office is deemed the result of whiny liberals, then it would just further entrench the hatred between the parties and cause deeper bitter politicized conflict. Not necessarily a civil war, but there would be some violence and riots by those on the right I'd guess. The reason for Trump's removal has to be irrefutable, such as direct evidence of collusion with Russia to tamper with the democratic process. Something that even most on the right would find abhorrent and agree that he needs to be sent packing. Having Pence take over would help salve the wounds on the right. But right now, Trump is still considered the "anti-establishment savior", so there can't be any hint of a power grab by the establishment.

If I was nostradomus I would play the lottery. A Civil War doesnt have to be a traditional war. We need a spark to set things off. Like the cops firing on protesters to set off massive multiple city protests. The more authoritarian Trump gets on them the more it grow. Trump isnt getting impeached by a Republican Congress so mid terms are going to be a big deal. Democrats have twice as many seats up for grabs in the Senate so doubt they gain any seats there. If Republicans maintain control of Congress we should see more violent protesting. The best bet to set things off is if Trump wins re-election. Thats when I expect **** to hit the proverbial fan. What could be even more dangerous is if Trump loses and blames fraud like we all know he would. Maybe he refuses to hand over power citing an illegitimate election.
I hope it tears the country apart. 90% of us wouldnt know freedom, liberty or the constitution from a hole in the ground. Few are smart enough to see their own bull****. The Government pisses on us and tells us its raining and most are happy with that so long as its their side that gets to do the pissing. I am tired of being pissed on. Yeah I am still bitter my guy lost and I dont mean Gary Johnson but he was never given a chance in the first place. Election fraud did happen against my guy. No one cares. Rules were changed mid primary to **** over my guy. No one cares. The mainstream media largely refused to cover my guy while falling all over themselves to promote Sarah ****ing Palin or Rick Santorum. The only time they mention my guy is to tell people he is too extreme and cant win so they wont bother covering him. They cant even take the time to attack him because theres so little ammunition for them that they just refuse to cover him. Now we got Trump. I say good. Its what we deserve. Theres a lot of Ron Paul people in the Trump movement. Theres a lot of Bernie people in the Trump movement. People are tired of being told who our overlords going to be by the media and the 2 major parties. A lot of people voted Trump as another way to say "none of the above".
I need a blunt. Let the mother****ing country burn.
Long story short if we insist on being retards then we may as well go full retard. Maybe we will learn something from it.

Government issued identification should be an absolute requirement to vote. It's asinine that it's not.
I haven't practiced any form of religion in over 15 years but this is absolutely absurd that you'd make this correlation.

FWIW, that wouldn't solve the problem this study is purporting.
Part of the study is how many non citizens are vpting among other illegal voting blocs. How would valid ID not solve a large portion of the problem?
Who knows...maybe trump should have won by an even larger electoral margin.

The study suggests that noncitizens vote. Noncitizens can have legally issued ID documents. They can be improperly allowed to register using those documents. I'm not sure how polling-place ID laws would prevent this from happening. If you'd like for me to pull a quote from the author of the study being referenced here saying the same thing, I'll be glad to.

I'd guess that would vary from state to state. Again, this study doesn't suggest any "how," so suggesting a corrective measure is pointless unless you understand the problem.
