Affordable Care Act

What you fail to understand is that government subsidies always lead to higher prices. Insurance is 1500 a month because Government has been subsidizing and regulating it to death.

Yep - when the government subsidizes, prices sky rocket... show me an example where this has not happened

Is it that crazy of a concept to say that someone who thinks he/she can't buy health insurance, shouldn't be buying a $1,000 phone?

Oh right - that requires accountability... something the left loathes

"ah, 'the left'"

His statement is facile and misleading on multiple levels.

Here is a novel concept I like. Don't penalize handicapped or elderly people from working. If a blind person can get a job he shouldn't lose disability payments because of it. Same with "retired" elderly people. Unless the amount they make gets obscene we shouldn't penalize people for working menial jobs who could otherwise sit at home.

Practice saying: "Sorry, honey, but we can't afford the chemo because David Koch needed $7 million in tax breaks."

Go to any poor neighborhood and kids have iPhones and the new curry sneakers. That's what happens when you create safety nets.

The end of the day all the nonsense you have been writing about ACA was a ruse while your real objection was those mythical " all the kids who tweet about wanting free stuff from the $800 iPhones "

Want a laugh ?
When Health Care first became an issue not only were there not iPhones -- there was barely a telephone
Who was your boogeyman then == Indoor plumbing ?

Rather callous that when discussing Health Care - actual nuts and bolts health care comes as an afterthought to you
Remember I've warned you a million times
"everyone is a libertarian until their house is 10' feet underwater "
same principle applies here n spades

Per usual - I have no idea what you are babbling about.

You know my issues with ACA. I don't believe in mandates. And I don't believe in subsidization. It makes costs rise, 100% of the time. I challenge you to give me an example where it doesn't. Thanks

Not everyone can have the best medical treatments known to man. It's just a fact of life. Even you would have to admit that there is a point where you would say we have to cut our losses and let someone die. We might disagree on the amount but spending 2 million of public money to save an 80 year olds life is not in our best interests.

If it was up to me I would give everyone great healthcare instead of bombing brown people and enslaving black people. We just can't afford all this ****. We have more than enough money to do it but we prioritize other things.

One can argue about the wisdom of providing agricultural price supports--which largely go to giant agribusiness operations--but I don't think food prices would be lower if the price supports were yanked. In fact, prices may well go up because farmers may produce less as a result. I generally agree with your statement, but there are nuances.

I love that sturg, who always says he doesn't follow the talking points of republicans or read drudge etc

Is repeating the talking point Chaffetz was saying about iPhones and healthcare

It just must be a coincidence again

A sign of how likely this plan is to pass: Sean Spicer refuses to characterize this health care plan as Trump's bill.

This is why we can't have nuthin'

Dubious story from @SecPriceMD re: small biz laying off 3 of 18 workers b/c of health costs. Sm biz
