If you're willing to use really small sample sizes like that, Profar strung together a .295/.351/.428 first half with 4 2Bs, 2 3Bs, 5 HRs, and 15 RBIs last season (173 ABs).

Has to be at least as successful as Wisler's been at any point up to now. If the Rangers want Wisler for Profar, sign me up!!!

I would do that deal easily too. I was merely responding to the assinine comment that he is trash and has always been trash. And yes, a glimpse is a small sample size. Do you know what a glimpse means? It's not much. The notion that it would take Julio to get Profar is bat sh*t crazy though.
 
If we can get Profar and Gallo for relatively cheap, it's worth the gamble. They are the types of position players we should take a chance on

You never know. The padres traded Anthony Rizzo for Cashner and Luis Valbuena if I recall correctly so might be worth a shot.

I wouldn't think they would be interested in AAA pitchers who've been shelled in the majors though.
 
Outside of FF and Folty....no one should be safe on this team if the right deal comes along. Think if we would have held on to Shelby. I'm afraid no "right" deals are out there though.
