Really? Add up all the WAR produced by all Braves players and it almost perfectly equals the current win total after adjusting for their unlucky record in 1 run games. If the "formula" is wrong, which player on the roster is being credited with too much WAR to make up for Kemp being credited with too little?

Sucks for that guy. 4 games away from immortality.
JUp posted OPS+ of 124 and 133 as a Brave. He mostly batted 2nd and 3rd in 2013, but posted the bulk of his 133 OPS+ in the 4 hole in 2014.
Kemp started out scorching hot and is barely beating JUp's 2014 numbers from the 4 hole. His OPS has been trending down since a torrid first couple weeks.
But don't let facts get in the way of a good tall tale.
