Teresa May calling for Internet regulations...
The biggest threat to our freedom is our own government, not a foreign enemy
Much more sensibe methods to attack this enemy.
Going back to 9/11 - I still think that should have been treated as a police issue rather than a military/diplomatic issue.
Had it been treated as a crime rather than an act of war we could have avoided an awful lot of BS.
The 1993 bombing was treated as just that and largely forgotten today
I was and still am opposed to going into Afghanistan after binLaden.
thought it was knee jerk and elevated the act by turning the perpetrators into martyrs rather than common criminals
I can't think of a more virtue signaling cause than the Paris Accord.
I am very much pro-environmentalism. Climate change is real. The global community should be united. Etc. etc.
The problem with the Paris Accord is that every nation made one unrealistic commitment after another they weren't going to meet (with no mechanism to hold them to it) and the US was at the forefront of that (all except China, India, Pakistan, etc. who basically said "yeah, reduce carbon emission. sure, eventually I guess").
Nicaragua isn't in it cause they don't think it does enough

Where was that the last 6 months?
The Intercept is one of the more credible sources out there currently, in my opinion—which is likely why the receive so much scorn from so many ideological angles.

Reports today that Kushners interest in secretly meeting with Russians was to secure a loan to bail out a real estate investment gone bad.
