6/5- Phillies/Braves game 1

Unless something changes pretty quickly, we're going to be 0-4 against the putrid Phillies this year.

Watching Bartolo Colon get hit hard every outing, including tonight against the Phillies, it's hard to believe the numbers he produced as a Met. He won 44 games in 3 years with a 3.90 ERA and 1.22 WHIP. Current numbers far worse. Same stuff. Same strategy. Different results. Braves will have to move on soon.

The only chance we have is to trade him to the Mets for a prospect and the Braves eat the contract. Met might think they can fix him and they need a pitcher.

Do it. I don't see any harm in bringing in Wisler or Blair doing the same thing as Colon. At least they are young and can still improve.

I hate how Chip and Joe degrade new statistics and sabermetrics. It's too bad the organization follows that same thought process, too.

Now we get to listen to the broadcast braintrust talk about launch angle and exit velocity. Unsurprisingly they have no idea what they are babbling about.

They are very proud anti-intellectuals.

We aren't gonna just eat that salary, so move colon to long relief and a spot start here and there.
