100% serious. The Yankees have the best young core in the Majors. (Judge, Sanchez, and Severino are stars + Torres will be one, too)
They are what Atlanta would have been had we executed the rebuild properly instead of taking back trash like Wisler, Blair, etc.

Aaron Judge drafted by NYY with #32 in 2013.
Sanchez signed internationally with Yankees in 2009.
Severino signed internationally with Yankees in 2011.
Torres was acquired by trade though.

Oh, the Yankees didn't tear it down. I'm just saying they have the best young core and are the most exciting team in baseball.

OK, that's definitely the last time I walk into a hook up without turning on the light first. This isn't the first time I've made a similar mistake.
So BJ screwed us three times. First by signing the contract, second by being the reason we didn't make the Yankees deal, third by costing us a great return for Kimbrel. Killing me. Why did we need rid of his deal when we were trading everyone away in the first place (plenty of payroll flexibility).
