All of the Hiura speculation to me just seems like that... speculation. We had him in for one workout... but we worked out a ton of others. Pipeline seems to be the only ones hell bent on this. And the explanation always sounds unsure and speculative.

Who called Anderson to the Braves first last year? I remember that info coming out a few hours before the draft, similar to how the Hiura info is coming out this year. Whoever that was is probably who we should be listening to this year.

Yeah, but everyone was hearing Anderson... only Pipeline has speculated Hirua. Last year they worded it that it was definitely happening. This year, it's "but they could go tons of different directions"

Callis just said he's now leaning towards Wright for Braves... so as I said... things are not near as certain this year.
 
Who cares if Anderson was BPA or not? He's looking like a really good pick. Every scouting report on him has been glowingly positive so far.

I would rather have the guy who will be viewed as BPA after a year in the system than the guy who projects to be BPA today. That speaks well of the Braves scouts. Of course nobody knows for sure. Lot's of guys bust, and unexpected guys turn into stars. I am optimistic that it will turn out well. Doesn't always, but last year it did.
 
BA has us taking Beck with their final mock.

If Lewis goes 1-1, Greene 2nd and Gore 3rd, and the Rays go under slot, and somehow McKay, Beck and Wright are on the board for us, who do y'all prefer?
