On the double that scored Washington's 9th run, couldn't Nick have slid and stopped the ball? That would've likely held the runner to 3B and saved Atlanta a run.

Bullpen usage recently. He used both Freeman and Hursh in multiple innings last night and already used Jackson in multiple innings tonight.

The starters haven't made it very far, and Snitker's poor bullpen management the last few days have caused Ramirez to pitch in a game that won't end well for the Braves.
 
I think I'd rather see us earhole turner more than any other nat. That guy looks like the biggest douche there is

Braves pitching has given up 36 runs in the last 6 games -- and that includes an outlier game in which they only gave up 2 runs..... so, 34 runs in the other 5 other games. Not going to win a lot giving up roughly 7 runs a game.
 
I still ride Dickey and Colon through July 31. If you can't find any trade partner at all (even if it's for a D grade minor leaguer), then I dump them the first of August.
 
With Thursday being a day off, the criticism I would make of Snit in last night's game is not going to the pen sooner. I would have pinch hit for Dickey in the bottom of the fifth, though he was pitching well by that point and a decent case could have been made for keeping him. But once he gave up a couple hits to start the 6th he should have been yanked. With the off day Thursday, we could have used all of our top relievers last night and tonight.
