My goodness.
Trump just pronounced Santiago (Sahn-tee-ah-go) as (San-tee-aye-go) 4 times in a row.

Another day, another just outright dumb and embarrassing stance change by the orange one. It's a shame that policy changes here that will hurt Americans wasn't enough. We now want to go hurt the most vulnerable of the Cuban population as well.
I wish I could apologize to the Cubans that I met on my travels to the island on behalf of my president and less than majority of the country that put these people in power to do this to them.
They were so glad of the change because they were finally getting the chance to make some money by interacting with Americans on the people to people visa. They were so thankful to President Obama for changing the failed policies of the past that opened up financial lifelines for them that could help them earn a years salary in a couple days.
Truly sad day on that front cause we just gave ammo to the Cuban govt to use against us like they did for 50+ years. The amount of change that happened in a short amount of time was crazy in Havana between visits and we just made a u turn on giving the Cuban people hope and opportunity
Got it mixed up with San Diego?
Cuban government paid my cab driver, who is an engineer, 25 CUC a month. I gave him 20 CUC which essentially equals 20 American dollars just for driving me from Havana to the airport and I tipped him out an extra 5 because he gave me a tour of his engineering school.
You take away that money and now people are going to live in poverty dependent on a government giving them very little to work every month.
I'm thinking Mueller and Rosenstein get canned within the next few days
A lot of GOP'ers especially in Senate are slowly trying to distance from Trump.
If he fires Mueller there's just no way the GOP leadership in both houses can remain partisan on this.

The hardliners in the GOP, the McConnells, Ryans, etc., still haven't finished with Trump. He's still of use to them in getting their "all money back to the top 1% schemes". Until that happens I think he's safe. Once that does happen or if/when popular opinion among his supporters starts to seriously turn against him my advice is for him to watch those trips to Dallas, it'll be those same GOP moral giants who sell him down the river so to speak.
McConnell won't turn against him. Trump gave his wife the Transport Sec gig.
I do see someone like Ryan and northeastern republicans being closer to defecting or at least distancing. Spineless Ryan has kept arms length away from Trump on some things. The New York republicans like King will likely stick by Trump. Too risky to go against the home state guy unless there is a clear titanic sink by Trumps admin.
It's interesting to me that the socialist Cuban country is reliant on the "capitalist" American country, and the pro-socialists on this site are lamenting how poor they will be without our money.
By the way - terrible for Trump to go back on the Cuba thing. That was the best move Obama made, IMO
IMO it would help if we could get some decent (and understandable) definitions for free market capitalism, whatever the hell it is we have right now, socialism, and communism because I get the feeling we are using similar words to discuss different systems and therefore nobody even has a chance to understand anyone else whether we're talking about the same animal or a totally different one.
It only took the media about a week (after Comey's testimony) to shift their lies about a Russia/Trump collusion, to now an obstruction of justice narrative... We'll see where they take it next.
