Another release: Yeudi Gruillon released from Rome roster

Navarro, Rangel, Hellinger all re-assigned to Danville roster

Yenci Pena went 2-4 with his first career homer in the DSL.

Yunior Severino and Juan Carlos Negret both out of the lineup today. Wonder if it was just an off day for both or because they're going to join the GCL.

There's no reason he can't fill in the back of the rotation at least as well as the guys the Braves are paying $10M to get shelled.

Hopefully he can string a few more good starts together and can take Jamie's spot when we get a FV50 in his trade

Minter threw tonight for the second time in three games. I think he pitched every three days last year, so that's a good sign.

WTH is going on with my boy, Drew Harrington?

I think he'll be a solid bullpen piece in Atlanta someday, but man, he has had rough times lately.

JCN putting up numbers, I had the same thought when I saw he was out of the lineup.

If they bump him up to the GCL, its time to get curious with him. He's the same age as the other young J2 signings.

Yeah, I think we have seen what ole Jace does once he gets the call up. He needs to be traded to someone while he is looking good.

Seeing Newk really makes me want to see if Sims would do any better in the bigs. Sure, he would probably get tourched...I hope he gets the call up later on in the year.

Wisler is pulling ahead of sims in pecking order imo.

Wisler. Trade bait at this point. Too much talent coming up behind him. Medlen (unless he implodes will be the next call up).

I think he might could be a decent bench guy. Certainly not better than camargo in that role though

I think he just comes up too short in many areas. He can play multiple positions but he doesn't play any of them well to be a utility player. He's also not a good enough of a hitter to be a bat first bench piece imo. Now this is on a team that has aspirations to make the playoffs. On lower tier team sure he may be good enough to have a role. But I would hope we are looking past that at this point. He ultimately serves no purpose and will hit arbitration next season. He's going to be non tendered.

Does Wisler fit in as a bullpen piece? His low strikeout total worries me, but if he can be one of those guys who just pitches to weak contact, he could make a nice bullpen piece.

At the very least, he can take a Josh Collmenter role of long-man that works a few innings in blowouts or long innings in tight extra innings games.
