6/30 GDT: Atlanta Braves (37-41) vs. Oakland Athletics (35-44)

For those wondering why Folty was given more chances than Wisler, this game is why.

A few brilliant quotes from clv, the blogger/editor, a few months ago:

"Pitcher A: 24 years, 177 days
15-21, 265.2 IP, 4.88 ERA, 4.88 FIP, 1.38 WHIP, 2.10 K/BB, 1.4 HR/9

Pitcher B: 25 years, 152 days
13-12, 228.2 IP, 4.92 ERA, 4.60 FIP, 1.45 WHIP, 2.85 K/BB, 1.5 HR/9

Not sure what either has shown to demonstrate that he's better than the other thus far."

and then his brilliant summation of his entire Wisler = Folty argument:

"Again, other than the K/BB Rate they've essentially been the exact same Pitcher - and Wisler is 1/2 year younger."

As I've said many times, I'm really glad clv isn't the gm

Sure looked like he got squeezed. Did the ump choke? I can never figure why they don't show the 'box' after a pitch like that, so if it was indeed a ball, fans don't feel quite as frustrated.

They showed it on the A's broadcast. It was a ball.

Folty did better when I was watching the game on my phone while driving on I-16 in pouring Thunderstorms. The second I stop for safety to watch the homer happens.

Its all my fault. The only two ABs I watched him pitch were when he gave up the first walk and the homer to break it up. I should just stop watching.

Yeah, but his bat has definitely helped so keep complaining about the obvious. Do you regret trading for him?

He has produced 0.1 WAR this year and his contract is preventing the Braves from adding a LFer that is actually good.

Of course I wish the Braves didn't trade for him. Only derptards still think Kemp is a positive for this team.
