Albies has played and is probably ready. I just worry we will miss his best yes
Acuna may be Andruw good but he should get two to three yrs of at bats in minors. Looks like he just might get the one. Maybe we can sign him since we only got him for 100k
I'd give all position players prospects who are highly rated 8 year deals off the bat. Hard for them to pass up the security.
Yup....things get much easier if those two can produce a collective 8+ WAR.

I thought about if you'd try and sign Swanson this yr. down year maybe he takes the vote of confidence. If he's good he'll make a ton of money off the field
Acuna and albies probably play 2 years before we extend or try.
If both of those guys are plus defense with a 750 plus ops then we are likely set except for lf, 3b and catcher. Wish nanny or Donaldson was a legit option
I'm just a fan of what the Rays did with Longoria. Get it out of the way early.

The MLB team is improving, and Acuna and Albies look to be worth getting excited about.
All we need now is for the FO to avoid jumping the gun and doing something stupid in a silly attempt to compete right now.
This team can win 80-85 next year if they improve 3b, can win 85-90 in 2019, and can be a playoff contender for 5-10 more years if they stay the course and allow the rebuild to happen naturally.
