Not that its groundbreaking, but its always been probable and I'd never seen it as a lock from anyone.

The only people that suggested Maitan could stick at SS are Braves homers. It has been a foregone conclusion for years that he would outgrown the position.
 
Updated after today's outing, Yefri Del Rosario's numbers so far this year: 11 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 15 K.

I don't remember seeing really anyone saying Maitan might play SS. Everyone has talked about him at 3B.

The video from Tapate's post seems to show that he had a lot more pre-swing noise a year or two ago. Regardless, he's 17, he's got plenty of time to work out swing mechanics.
